Stuart Sailfish Club will entertain its second annual Flotilla to Cape Eleuthera Resort and Marina in April this year.
Boats will depart Stuart starting on Friday Apr. 6 based on the desired amount of travel days. The Captains Meeting is on Monday Apr. 9, followed by the first two of four days of fishing. Thurs. Apr. 12 is a lay day for local excursions such as Swimming Pigs Beach and the Grotto Cave, followed by the final two days of fishing. Sat. Apr. 14 is the Awards Dinner, with departure for boats starting the next day as desired.
During the week, participants will have family friendly events including planned dinners, cocktail gatherings and a beach bon-fire. This is a fun tournament fishing for every species of game fish and nearly every species of edible fish, including reef fish.

The Flotilla itself is an event for Stuart Sailfish Club members, but the tournament and activities are open to other boats from the local Bahamas and the US.
Cape Eleuthera is at Powell Point on the southwest end of Eleuthera and is a champion to first class fishing just outside the Marina in Exuma Sound. There are accommodations to rent, a well-stocked Ships Store, and back in Rock Sound, a great grocery store and shopping for other necessities. Learn about the Cape at www.capeeleuthera.com.
