The Grand Bahama Island Tourism Board (GBITB) is the private sector marketing and promotion agency for Grand Bahama Island. The GBITB is mandated to support economic growth for tourism stakeholders on Grand Bahama Island.



Activities include the development and execution of various marketing and promotional initiatives designed to enhance and increase Grand Bahama Island’s awareness and profile in the market. The Board’s membership includes a wide range of tourism related businesses including the accommodation sector, restaurants, bars, attractions, transportation providers, artisans and retailers.

Who Are We? The Bahama Out Islands Promotion Board is a hotel marketing association comprised of dozens of hotels scattered throughout the Out Islands Of The Bahamas.
Our Mission: To be the collective voice for the members of the Bahama Out Islands Promotion Board and proactively promote the Bahamas Out Islands’ tourism opportunities and distinctiveness through effective communication vehicles and travel industry relationships.
Our Purpose: To help increase tourism business for our members and spur economic growth for the Out Islands, while enhancing and protecting their ecological beauty.

The Bahamas National Trust is the national park service and the environmental guardians of The Bahamas. Created in 1959, The BNT manages over 2.2 million acres of land and sea in 32 unique national parks. The IYBA was created in 1987 to unite those engaged in the yacht brokerage business for the purpose of promoting professionalism and cooperation among its members; and to promote and maintain a high standard of conduct in the transacting of the yacht brokerage business.

Located in Nassau and Grand Bahama, Ship Mate Ltd., is positioned to provide a full array of maritime services with local know-how and experience. We are a Bahamas Maritime Authority STCW approved training facility offering STCW courses designed to satisfy the requirements of Basic Training for crew and pleasure craft users. Additionally, we offer expansive yacht services including berth bookings, customs clearance, procurement of stores/spare parts, transfers, and concierge services.
